Your job
As a member of the Undergraduate School teaching team, you will teach in our undergraduate Economics & Business Economics programme. You will spend 90% of your time on teaching duties and 10% on teaching-related research and educational development. As a junior lecturer you will:
- teach tutorial groups and become a tutor of a group of first-year students;
- contribute to a wide range of courses in economics, business economics and/or finance, depending on your interests and background;
- participate in other activities related to the undergraduate program such as providing information.
Requirements:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated junior lecturer who:
- has a Master's degree in economics, business economics, finance, or a related discipline;
- has excellent communication and coordination skills;
- fluently speaks and writes in English;
- has affinity for the full spectrum of courses taught in the undergraduate programme at U.S.E.;
- has potential to become an excellent teacher in the field of economics, business economics and/or finance.

Salary Benefits:
- a temporary position for four years;
- a working week of 28-40 hours and a gross monthly salary between €3,378 and €5,331 in the case of full-time employment (salary scale 10 under the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU));
- 8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus;
- a pension scheme, partially paid parental leave and flexible terms of employment based on the CAO NU.
