Our client, a marine communications company, is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to the diverse customer base. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping others. Please note that this position requires someone to be on-site every day in Moerdijk, remote work is not possible. 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products or services
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, returns, and exchanges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve customer issues
  • Maintain customer records and update information in the database
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures
  • Provide support to the customer service team and assist with training new team members

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proven customer service experience or similar role
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Experience in the Marine or related industry is a must
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Empathy and a customer-focused mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus

Day-to-day:

  • Communicating with customers via phone, email, or chat
  • Processing orders and handling returns or exchanges
  • Updating customer records in the database
  • Collaborating with the customer service team to address customer issues
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge
