Inventory and Demand Planner

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory and Demand Planner. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to customers. You will play a critical role in managing the integrated purchase planning, availability, and inventory processes that support business objectives in revenue, demand coverage, and profitability.As an Inventory and Demand Planner, you will work closely with the category business brand team to develop and implement seasonal purchasing strategies, monitor customer order progress, and maintain monthly purchase plans to meet demand targets.Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the purchasing and inventory management process to support category business objectives in terms of revenue, demand coverage, inventory turnover, and utilization.
  • Develop and maintain a seasonal purchasing strategy that aligns with inventory planning goals while minimizing risks and maximizing flexibility.
  • Continuously assess both internal and external data, plans, and constraints to improve inventory management processes and mitigate risks.
  • Support monthly net demand forecasting and ensure on-time customer order fulfillment through precise planning and inventory availability.
  • Monitor and manage availability control files to meet revenue and demand coverage goals, adjusting for supply and demand changes as necessary.
  • Execute the buying process with accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure effective communication across departments, understand key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for process improvements.

Requirements:

What do we expect from you?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting, buying, and managing inventory planning processes.
  • Familiarity with planning tools and systems, and the ability to leverage them effectively.
  • A solid understanding of operational KPIs and how they drive business performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to analyze data, anticipate needs, and optimize outcomes.

Salary Benefits:

This concerns a temporary role for a maternity cover, for 40 hours a week. We offer a competitive salary depending on experience.
