Sales Support Representative

Our client has been providing innovative products and solutions to a global customer base for more than 25 years. They have built relationships and sold their products to some of the world’s largest companies and in a variety of remote and challenging environments.

The next stage of their expansion is to set up a European Headquarters in the Rotterdam area in the last quarter o 2024 and we are assisting them in finding key local talent for a variety of exciting roles. One of the first roles created is that of a Sales Support Representative. This role combines commercial activities as well as customer support, as you will serve as the key point of initial contact with EU enquiries, requests for quotes and all other communications.

Some of the key responsibilities:

• Respond to emails and calls quickly, efficiently and professionally.
• Qualify enquiries and requests for quotation.
• Determine product advice and product selection for customers.
• Liaise with Headquarter Sales team for customer prices and quotations.
• Follow up on quotes sent to customers and advise on the order process.
• Update and maintain the CRM system and sales forecast.

You may be the first contact a new customer will have with our client and the first impression is vital. The response needs to be fast, efficient, professional and with an exceptional level of customer service and ongoing support.

What do you bring?

• A minimum of 2 years inside sales support or customer support experience for a European customer base.
• Experience with, or aptitude for, technical, industrial or electrical products and specifications.
• English and Dutch speaking. Confident in verbal and written communications.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Living within easy commuting distance of the Rotterdam area.
• Available to start a new opportunity in November 2024.
• Motivated to join an exciting new European office with the backing of a great global team.
