Somewhere around 2008, Maurice noticed a growing diversity in the group of real estate buyers in Amsterdam. Especially in the area De Zuidas, approximately 50% of the buyers was not of Dutch origin. This group of potential buyers found it increasingly difficult to obtain the proper information and relevant directives that were necessary in this process of buying. Maurice then realized that a decent and complete real estate website, aimed specifically at expats and providing significant insights into this process, was non-existent. That is why we decided to launch KNAPEXPATBROKER.nl: a real estate site that is of inestimable value for expats. KNAP EXPAT Broker is an initiative of the KNAP Real Estate Agency, and a member of the MVA Certified Expat Brokers. As such, the participate in the IN Amsterdam Partnership Program.
