How does it work

A gift card for a Renzy experience is a cool present if you are looking for an original gift for any occasion! You can gift a regular tour valued at 89 euros or a family package valued at 125 euros. Contact Renzy to get a gift voucher for anyone you want to spoil! Also, mention the address where the gift voucher should be sent to in this message.

Subsequently, they will send you a payment link (including 4,95 euros shipping costs) via Pay.nl, which you can settle using iDEAL or a credit card. Once the payment is received, Renzy will send you the physical gift voucher in a stylish envelope, packaged discreetly.

Redeeming your Renzy gift voucher

The gift voucher contains a unique voucher code that the recipient can redeem on Renzy’s website for a tour of their choice. The gift voucher can only be redeemed for tour themes driven from May 8 until October 31 and is valid for two years from the date of issue. The gift voucher cannot be used in conjunction with other discount promotions and is not exchangeable for cash.

What is included

The following is included in a Renzy tour:  

• A fully charged electric Twizy, suited for 2 people (2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child) or 2 Twizies (2 adults + 2 kids four to 18 years old) when you book the family package.
• GPS navigation with a themed route of your choice spanning approximately 30 kilometres.
• A detailed and entertaining audio guide in English, providing insights into the area's highlights and stops.
• The GPS audio tour lasts for 180 minutes, with a driving duration of up to one hour. This leaves ample time for breaks, close-up admiration of highlights and photo opportunities.
• As this is a private tour, you will be guided by GPS navigation and audio guide.

What you need to know to ride a Renzy Twizy

Here’s everything you need to know before you go on your adventure with Renzy:

• Drivers have to be over 21 years old and in possession of a valid driving license for a minimum of three years.
• A valid driving license B has to be presented and a participation form completed, including personal details, license number and signature.
• A refundable deposit of 150 euros must be paid per Twizy during check-in, payable via PIN (with the option to refund to PIN), credit card or cash.
• The Twizies are covered by WA Allrisk insurance, including passenger coverage (the insurance policy is available for review at the issue desk).
• If damage is caused to the Twizy accessories or third parties, a 500 euros excess applies per claim.
• Please note that Renzy's GPS tours are not suitable for individuals with limited mobility or back issues.
• The consumption of alcohol and (soft) drugs is strictly prohibited during the tour.
• Enjoy flexibility with a free cancellation policy up to 14 days before the start of the tour.

Important information for your Renzy tour

Some extra info and tips before you zoom away in a Twizy: 

• The start and end point for all GPS audio tours is Meer en Duin 44 in Lisse.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement of your GPS audio tour. This time is allocated for check-in, deposit payment and receiving comprehensive instructions from the staff.
• Each time slot accommodates a maximum of 18 participants.
• The allocated start and end times for each time slot remain fixed due to the intermittent vehicle charging process.
• Arrangement of Twizy pairings is required in advance. Throughout the tour, you are solely permitted to operate the Twizy corresponding to your designated number from check-in. Riding along with another Twizy in your group is only possible as a passenger, not as the driver.
• Operating with an automatic transmission, the Twizy is remarkably user-friendly and navigates like a regular car on standard roads.
• The Twizies are meticulously maintained, minimising the likelihood of malfunctions. In the rare event of any issue, a Renzy staff member will swiftly respond to your report and provide on-site assistance.
• Tours strictly adhere to inland roads with maximum speeds of 30 or 60 kilometres per hour. Highways and provincial routes are avoided during the tour.
• Renzy's pre-programmed tour routes extend up to 30 kilometres, guided effortlessly by GPS navigation. In case of deviations, the GPS system will promptly guide you back to the correct path.
• With a battery range of 60 kilometres, the chances of a participant encountering an empty battery and being stranded are extremely low. Should such a scenario arise during a tour, a Renzy team member will be available nearby to recharge the battery.
• You are advised to dress in warm, layered clothing. During the period from late March to early May, temperatures can range from five to more than 20 degrees celsius. Be mindful, as the open Twizy may feel cool, particularly for rear-seat passengers.
• The tour always operates, in rain or shine. Side windows can be fitted to the Twizy for added comfort in the case of bad weather.
• Child seats and boosters are available for children aged one to 12 years old.
• Small dogs (up to 10 kilograms) are welcome on the tour.
