100th anniversary of the Rembrandt House Museum
On June 10, it will be one hundred years to the day since the Rembrandt House opened its doors to the public as a museum.
To celebrate this occasion the Rembrandt House will be open free to everyone from 6 pm to 10 pm with a selection of special celebratory activities.
Programme
› 6 pm -10 pm: Museum staff will be on hand to provide explanations in every room of Rembrandt’s house.
› 6 pm - 10 pm: Continuous paint mixing and etching demonstrations.
› 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm: Children’s workshop (max. 20 children).
› 8 pm - 10 pm: Short talks about the history of the Rembrandt House Museum given by the museum’s curators (lasting about 15 minutes).
