Rotterdam Unlimited is back this summer with its famous music acts on the main stage, the exciting Caribbean-style summer carnival and many other events and activities in Rotterdam!

About Rotterdam Unlimited

Rotterdam Unlimited is one big celebration of the international diversity, culture and art that are embedded in the contemporary metropolis that is Rotterdam.

Performing arts, musical presentations, high-end international artists, dance, storytelling and, of course, the legendary Summer Carnival parade show up at this iconic festival that takes place in more than eight locations.

The festival focuses on Rotterdam's latest trends, cultural encounters, talent development and artistic exchanges, as well as more than 174 different cultures that reside in the city.

Rotterdam Unlimited demonstrates how cultural influences and interactions are a continuous source of innovation, whilst also showing the powerful art traditions and rich heritage of all the different communities in the Netherlands.

Programme, locations and transport

Many streets in the centre of Rotterdam can’t be accessed by car during the event, so visitors are encouraged to come by public transport. What's also good to know is that most events at Rotterdam Unlimited are free of charge!
