Christmas Village and Ice Rink Amsterdam
With over 45 different stalls and an estimated 60.000 visitors each year, Christmas Village Amsterdam is a cosy, festive Christmas market in Amsterdam, next to Museumplein's famous ice rink that returns for 2024! This is the perfect place to visit with kids and families or friends and colleagues in the lead-up to the holidays.
A village of Christmas market chalets on Museumplein
Christmas Village is made up of adorable little wooden chalets on the edge of the famous square. Browse the Christmas market and find everything from Christmas gifts to warm food like waffles and poffertjes, fashion and lifestyle items and decorations for your house, from Christmas trees to wreaths.
If you find the whole experience too cold, you can warm yourself up at one of the many fire pits. There will also be live entertainment from local musicians, and you can always take a moment away to enjoy a skate on the fabulous ice rink.
Food from stalls or at De Ijsbaan
Christmas shopping is sure to give you an appetite. As well as delicious food from the various stalls at the market, you can also visit De Ijsbaan restaurant, part of the neighbouring ice rink, which is open every day except Thursdays, and serves cheese fondue, soup, tasty sandwiches and other lunch and dinner options. It even serves mulled wine and hot chocolate. This is the perfect place to get warm and cosy on your day out and about!
