See out the final days of the summer holiday with this free gaming event in Amsterdam for 6-15 year-olds.

What is @venture Games?

For the last weekend in August, children and teens can experience the worlds of VR, gaming and e-sports at the highest level, all for free.

The initiative is in conjunction with the Amsterdam council, and has been created to inspire young people (and their parents) to look at the opportunities that the world of e-sports has to offer. The event is a place for young people to work together, get moving and have fun as much as it is the chance to experience the latest gaming technology.

What's on at @venture Games

The event takes place in the enormous AFAS live music venue, and takes up over 3.000 square metres of space, so there's a lot to do! Below you can find just a taster of the many events:

Just Dance Floor

The popular dance game Just Dance gets everyone moving. All you need is a controller in your hand and, of course, your best dance moves!

FIFA Skills

Looking to improve your FIFA game? Come along and practice different disciplines including passing, shooting, dribbling and free kicks.

Race Experience

Experience the thrill of the race in the Formula 1 simulators. Get behind the wheel as Max Verstappen and experience the fast corners and high speeds. Try to set the best time on all circuits of the championship!

Urban Hockey Skills

Tired of playing hockey in the rain? Then start playing in VR! Learn hockey 2.0 in this challenging obstacle course.

Attending @venture Games

The event is completely free, but spaces are limited so you need to register for your preferred time slot in advance on the @venture Games website. Parents and guardians don't need to register, only the participants, and the time slots are from 10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm each day.

AFAS Live is located just a few minutes from Bijlmer ArenA train, metro and bus station so you can get here easily by public transport, even from other Dutch cities.
