Rode Tulp Film Festival

Rode Tulp Film Festival (RTFF), taking place from May 27 until June 4, is the only annual Turkish Film Festival in the Netherlands. Turkish cinema is getting more and more popular with international crowds. RTFF is the place for international audiences to explore the best films on offer, and for Dutch and Turkish film makers to meet and extend their network.

Locations and dates

This year’s RTFF is bigger than ever and will take place in six cities:

• Rotterdam: May 27-30 in Lantaren Venster
• The Hague: May 29 in Filmhuis
• Amsterdam: June 1-4 in Rialto
• Utrecht: June 1 in Louis Hartlooper Complex
• Eindhoven: June 2-4 in Natlab
• Tilburg: June 4 in Cinecitta

The festival is aimed at an international audience, and all films are subtitled in English.

Please note, ticket competition winners are announced on the day after the closing date. The three winners will be selected so there is one winner to attend in each week of the festival. Remember to check this page or your IamExpat inbox to see if you've been selected!
