Bram van Melle

Bram specializes in labor migration, nationality law and civic integration. He counsels employers and employees on residence and work permits. In the area of nationality law Bram advises mostly clients abroad about holding or (re)acquiring Dutch citizenship by naturalisation or by option. Before becoming an lawyer, Bram worked for the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice and later the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Kingdom relations. Bram studied both in Amsterdam and Berkeley (US), and graduated cum laude from the VU University in Amsterdam. He is a Member of the Dutch Bar Association, and the International Bar Association. He publishes and teaches regularly about various aspects of the ever changing immigration laws and practices in the Netherlands.
