Accountant AP/ AR

What will you do?You are a member of the Finance team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across various functions to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Ensure timely availability of complete and accurate data.
- Assist in maintaining control over accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with company standards, and systematically processing trade payables as per agreed vendor payment terms.
- Review and process invoices in accordance with established procedures and accounting standards.
- Manage and resolve escalated accounts payable issues.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Perform month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and submit documentation for internal controls, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and productivity.
- Provide support to other accounting team members.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of new financial solutions, tools, and process transitions.
- Take responsibility for a specific accounting function (Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable) and execute assigned tasks.
- Participate in reporting and analysis projects.
- Continuously seek improvements in process execution.
Requirements:
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong understanding and experience in finance, bookkeeping, and accounting principles, with a preference for accounts payable experience.
- Excellent level of English (written and spoken)
- Work experience in Europe
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with AFAS is a strong advantage.

Salary Benefits:
- This is a long term position and full time (40 hours per week)
- The salary is between EUR 3200 - EUR 4000 gross per month, depending on work experience and education
