Logistics Coordinator | English

For one of our clients, a distributor of electrical products and services, we are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Middenmeer. In this fast-paced role, you will play a key part in managing transportation logistics, collaborating with internal and external teams, and ensuring timely delivery of goods across Europe. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to handle multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Book and manage all European transport, working closely with haulers to secure cost-effective and timely solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer delivery expectations are met.
• Proactively manage transport schedules, address delays, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Prepare and verify all required shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and haulers to ensure all shipments are dispatched on time.
• Update and maintain delivery schedules, communicating any changes to relevant parties.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure shipment readiness and alignment on priorities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and haulers regarding shipment-related inquiries.
• Resolve transport and delivery issues swiftly, maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities for process improvement.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• You are based in or near Middenmeer
