Are you looking to find an office-based job after your retail Sales experience? We're looking for you!

For our client in the consumer electronics industry, we are searching for an energetic and ambitious colleague to become their next Junior Key Account Manager who is happy to travel the whole Netherlands and meet their clients.

Please note we can only consider candidates who are based in the Netherlands as well as eligible to work in the Netherlands. The contract is a 6-month contract through our agency.

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Key Account Manager, you are responsible for driving sales (sell-out only) at the outlet level in the Dutch market for retailer Media Markt. You are responsible for building strong customer relationships, as well as for business development, distribution, and prospecting in the market. Your focus is driving excellence at the point of sale and executing the objectives coming from the Sales Director and Key Account Manager Media Markt Benelux at store level for all segments in the region. To be successful, you focus on driving excellence at the point of sale and executing the objectives coming from the Sales Director at the store level for all segments in the whole Netherlands.

  • Work in collaboration with the Sales Support department and Key Account Manager Benelux to manage, nurture, and optimize existing accounts and distribution within Media Markt Netherlands
  • Maintain and develop the account plans for your accounts (stores) and share best practices with the team
  • Monitor and report competitive trends and market developments and propose strategies
  • Manages the merchandising and promotional support for the NL Media Market stores
  • Strong focus on local POS and follow-up on positions as agreed upon
  • Development of sell-out-oriented marketing activities for the accounts and report back to the Media Markt Benelux
  • Analyze sales results and adjust strategy accordingly on store level
  • Focus on optimized product mix (push sales/volume/brand)
  • Acting as the escalation point for the Sales Support team when dealing with order-related topics for all NL-related Media Markt stores
  • Utilize Rex ( Software) to keep records of all customer contacts, sales proposals, and conversation reports up to date

Requirements:

  • Available full time and able to start as soon as possible without notice period
  • Fluent in English and Dutch is a must
  • Has driving license and willing to travel up to 75% in the whole Netherlands by car
  • Around 2 years of experience in retail sales or business development experience within the retail sector. Looking to find an office-based job after your retail shop experience? We're looking for you!
  • Able to commute to the Amsterdam office at least twice in a month
