Business Development Manager | Dutch

Our client is in a dynamic growth phase within a broad and rapidly evolving industry, providing innovative solutions that position them as a European market leader. As they expand in the Dutch market, they are seeking a Dutch-speaking New Business Development Manager. This role is designed to help build future sales leaders and drive the company’s success in key financial sectors.

Key responsibilities: 

• Developing new customer relationships within targeted financial market segments, leveraging innovative solutions.
• Acting as a brand ambassador at industry events, roadshows, and trade fairs.
• Utilizing your network, ideally within asset management or private banking, to increase market share.
• Managing your sales pipeline within the CRM system to ensure effective tracking and performance measurement.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams including solution consultants, customer service managers, and marketers to achieve success.

Key requirements:

• Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Experience and deep understanding of the fin-tech or financial wealth management industry.
• A proven track record as a skilled sales hunter, adept at generating new business in challenging markets.
• Around 5 years of sales experience within the financial industry.
• A proactive and resilient personality.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC/MEDDPIC and a results-driven approach to lead qualification.
• Experience or strong affinity with SaaS and the financial technology sector, with insight into the needs of clients like banks and asset managers.
• A growth mindset, resilience, and the ability to handle setbacks while maintaining enthusiasm.
