Inside Sales Representative

What do you do on a daily basis?
As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll be tasked with cultivating and nurturing a customer base within a designated area. Your primary focus will be on selling our client's products and services while maintaining the values of the company. Some of your tasks will include:
Account Management:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, overseeing all aspects of export, import, and cross-trade activities;
- Plan and execute phone calls based on the company's commercial plan and customer segmentation model;
- Collaborate with Trade Management to set and achieve sales targets for each customer;
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
- Ensure competitive rates are maintained for each account and accurately recorded in relevant systems;
- Foster open communication and collaboration with Trade Teams as well as Sales Support Team.
Finance:
- Maintain the highest level of invoice accuracy and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices by customers;
- Ensure valid and up-to-date credit agreements are in place for eligible customers requiring credit terms;
- Assist in resolving disputes related to contracts, quotes, or filing issues.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Keep commercial data updated in the information system to facilitate informed decision-making;
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and evaluate customer performance, identifying areas for improvement;
- Document high-quality sales call notes and maintain them in the CRM system;
- Regularly report on sales results, developments, and activities to Sales Management.
Requirements:
Who are you?
- Proficiency in English is required;
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics;
- Experience in maritime shipping or logistics;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools;
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards;
- Strong communication skills;
- Negotiation prowess and solid business acumen.
