Assistant Customs Agent

- Control the arrival of shipments into your nominated port or depot
- Deal with day-to-day operational issues communicating with regional partner and shipment stakeholders
- Ensure addresses are correct, we know specific site information and booking in process with clients
- Book in the delivery with the consignee and release in the TMS
- Ensureanyadditionalcostspresentedfrom thebooking in aresharedwithshipment stakeholders
- Timed deliveries
- Quay costs
- Out of hour deliveries
- Specifics specified by the consignee that creates additional cost
- Customer Service for the consignee and shipment stakeholders ensuring shipments are delivered as noted by the Customer Expected Delivery Date in the TMS
- Report any discrepancies to the shipment stakeholders.
- Ensure the highest standards of customer service and process compliance escalating serious issues to your line manager
Requirements:
- Immediately available
- Available for 32-40 hours
- Speaking English Fluently
- Independent and no 9 to 5 mentality
