Legal Counsel | Temporary

Our client are currently seeking a temporary additional support in our legal team through the end of the year to assist in setting up and expanding the department. The Legal Counsel will assist in providing essential legal support for operations across the European region, primarily focused on contract review, corporate governance, and general legal matters
- Conduct thorough reviews of maritime contracts, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, and internal agreements to ensure compliance with company standards and legal policies.
- Update and maintain agency contracts within company systems.
- Provide guidance on corporate matters to European subsidiaries, including document reviews, management approvals, and maintaining accurate governance records.
- Respond to general legal inquiries and provide timely support to regional teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to support risk assessments, legal questionnaires, and regional reports.
- Foster team collaboration and contribute positively to a unified team spirit, in alignment with company values.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business or Maritime Law.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in maritime law, either in a private practice or in-house setting.
- Experience in claims management and contract review.
Salary Benefits:
- A salary between 4.000 and 5.000 euros per month based on experience
