Scrum Master (Collaboration and Security Services)

We are looking for a highly motivated Scrum Master to lead two software development teams of Swisscom in Rotterdam. The ideal candidate should have great leadership skills, experience in an agile environment and be committed to deliver the maximum value to our customers, users, and the organization. You will work closely with your two team of six and seven engineers, your Product Owner, third-party colleagues and other scrum masters within in an agile environment.

What you move

• Continuously improve the team and enable all members to do their best work
• Maximise value delivery to our customers and users
• Simplify processes on team and organisational level together with other scrum masters and the release train engineer
• Take care that team is compliant regarding processes, guidelines and governance provided in respect to working practices, legal obligations & behavioural anchors
• You are building a bridge between the teams in Netherland, Switzerland and Riga. For that you are also willing to travel around up to five weeks per year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as scrum master / release train engineer / agile coach or similar
• Leadership skills (Trainer, Networker, Entrepreneur, Self Leader)
• Facilitation, mentoring, coaching and conflict management
• In-depth Agile and Lean know-how (for example Scrum, Kanban, flow management, SAFe, self-organisation)
• Proactive, pragmatic problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
• Excellent level of proficiency in English
  
• Hands-on experience in software development is a plus
• Work in a co-located organisational setup is a plus

Contract terms

• To begin with you will receive a fixed term contract (one year), after 6 months of your employment with us, after a feedback meeting with the team, there is a possibility of extending the contract
