Our client is an international leader in global IT services. They are currently looking for an a motivated and enthusiastic communication specialist interested in joining their People and Culture team.



Responsibilities/Tasks


As a communication specialist within the team, you'll be the go-to person for internal communication and will collaborate with team members to elevate the overall employee experience. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will ensure messaging is clear and consistent, promotes our values, and fosters a culture of open communication and transparency.

Your day in the office involves:


  • Writing engaging content to feed internal communication channels, which include newsletter, intranet, emails, and IGtv (Powerpoint-based internal TV) among others.

  • Managing the intranet newsfeed publications

  • Writing internal event invitations and assisting the Facility and P&C teams during those events which are meant to foster a sense of community and highlight our company culture and values.

  • Creating people and culture-related social media posts.

  • Working closely with various teams to write and share stories, news, updates, milestones, and info highlighting our 'team's successes, learning opportunities, and office life.

  • Being the go-to internal communication advisor for all teams and stakeholders, giving tips on communication strategies, keeping messages consistent, and sharing effective communication techniques.

  • Monitoring communication metrics and analytics to evaluate communications strategies' effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in internal communication and employee engagement, as well as integrating relevant insights to refine our approach.

  • In addition to these typical daily responsibilities, you will also:

  • Work with the leadership team to identify relevant topics for quarterly town hall meetings, refine content to align with company goals, and provide support during these town hall sessions.

  • Create informative and welcoming content for new employee onboarding materials to facilitate a smooth integration into our organization.

  • Proofread of all P&C-related docs such as job descriptions, job ads, employee handbook

  • Ensure all P&C documents (especially job descriptions) are consistent in style, branding, and structure.



Requirements



  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications or a related field, and at least three years of experience in a similar role.

  • Your written and spoken English is excellent; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

  • Indesign and PowerPoint knowledge and experience are a plus.

  • You have experience in a young, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment.

  • You have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an easily digestible manner.

  • You are detail-oriented, have strong project management skills, and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are a creative thinker passionate about storytelling and engaging employees through innovative communication strategies and techniques.

  • You can build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
