IT Service Desk Technician EMEA

Our client is a global player in the optical field specializing in medical devices supplying medical equipment to hospitals, specialists, and optometrists. On behalf of them, we are looking for an IT Service Desk Technician for EMEA region. 

As an IT service desk professional, using your solid theoretical and practical IT knowledge, you will support users within EMEA in efficiently and effectively using IT equipment and the necessary software. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Registering requests, incidents, and changes in the ticketing system.
• Diagnosing issues, resolving disruptions, and providing on-site support.
• Managing accounts, changing passwords, and handling access rights.
• Installing, connecting, and delivering workstations and peripherals.
• Maintaining configuration and user information, and implementing changes.
• Participation in projects, such as replacing hardware or office rellocation
• Contributing to the management, maintenance, and optimization of the IT infrastructure, including (virtual) Windows servers and cloud applications.

Qualifications:

• Positive and strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
• A customer-oriented mindset.
• More than 3 years of relevant experience as a support staff member or system administrator.
• Stress-resistant.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a (project) team.
• Relevant knowledge and experience with:
  • Workplace hardware (workstations, printers, etc.)
  • Windows 10/11
  • MS Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
  • MS Server 2016+
  • Endpoint Manager and Azure
  • Networking (switches, routers, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
  • VMware
