We’re on the search for…
…a visionary tech lead with enthusiasm for people and innovative solutions who can Go
One Stop Further by taking our team to the next level.
You will be accountable for strategic planning, architectural decision-making and team management. You will inspire and guide our front-end development team, consisting of 12 members, with their technical challenges and personal development.
In collaboration with other leads and our architect, you’ll play an essential role in high-level technical and architectural directions and decisions, ensuring a unified customer experience across all platforms.
Together with our design lead, you’ll pave the way for a great collaboration between our UI/UX designers and writers.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll join the Development & Design team, reporting to the Head of Development & Design.
You’ll be involved in:
- Creating a vision and guiding the technical direction of projects, ensuring that standards are met and the best practices are followed.
- Supervising the way of working and gatekeeping code quality and high standards.
- Guiding the process of decisions around architecture, tools, and technologies used in the development process.
- Being the go-to person in case of escalating and assisting in solving complex problems and technical issues.
- Mentoring team members, guiding them to grow and improve their skills.
- Being simultaneously part of the development team and a link between developers/QA and non-development teams (architect, business, etc.)
What we’re looking for

In terms of your experience and skills:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
- Experience in code reviews and setting code standards.
- Experience with DevSecOps culture and Agile way of working.
- Proficiency in Javascript & Typescript, React (v17/v18) and CSS standards and SCSS
- Experience in a B2C eCommerce environment
- Knowledge of AWS, and especially serverless technologies
- Proficiency in responsive design & grid systems, understanding A11Y standards
- The desire to improve is in your DNA
- Proficient in English language (both oral & written)
- Analytical thinking and technical decision-making.
- Proficient in interpersonal communication. You can explain complex technical issues in a way everyone can understand
In addition, it’s extra credit if you have…
- Experience with implementing testing strategies and standards
- Experience with implementing internal UI libraries and packages
- A love of sustainable travel!
