HR Operations Manager | Dutch

Our client, a global leader in advanced  technology, originally established in South Korea and now operating across more than 80 countries worldwide, is looking for an HR Operations Manager. In this role, you will handle a wide range of HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to compliance and performance management.

You will work closely with our international team, covering offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. The ideal candidate is an HR professional with operational HR experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to support our growing business in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Writing job descriptions, posting openings on job sites, and managing the entire recruitment process (interviewing, negotiations, offers).
  • Employee Relations: Conducting performance reviews, resolving workplace issues, and acting as a point of contact for all HR-related matters.
  • Onboarding: Coordinating the introduction of new employees, drafting employment agreements, and assisting with new hire orientation.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensuring that all employment policies comply with Dutch and European regulations. Supporting the drafting and updating of company handbooks and employment policies.
  • Labor Relations: Managing long-term sickness files and liaising with external agencies where required.
  • Performance Management: Implementing performance review systems and providing guidance on employee development.
  • Benefits Administration: Overseeing insurances, pensions, and payroll-related queries (with support from Finance).
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with employment laws across multiple regions (Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium).

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a background in handling international HR tasks (especially in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium).
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and Dutch is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law, payroll practices, and compliance.
  • Soft Skills: Energetic, reality-neutral, and able to communicate well with Dutch colleagues. Should be open to feedback and able to push back when necessary.
