Our client is currently looking for a System Engineer for their Helmond office. In this function, you will work closely with the software and system engineers ensuring outstanding tests of batteries, monitoring and battery management. In this role you will:

  • Ensure product verification and compliance with legislation across various countries.
  • Manage suppliers and oversee any necessary changes at the supplier level.
  • Develop and implement effective test programs.
  • Apply DFx principles—focusing on quality, cost, and safety—to optimize product design.
  • Oversee the documentation and certification process for our battery systems.
  • Communicate with both suppliers and customers to guarantee that product functionality meets client requirements.
  • Develop, design, test, and qualify Battery Storage Systems, including Battery Monitoring and Battery Management Systems.
  • Select and integrate appropriate components, create electrical schematics, and support installation processes.
  • Verify that all required certifications are obtained and approve systems for Factory Acceptance.
  • Utilize expertise in electrical construction software (preferably AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN) to ensure success in the role.

Requirements:

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering and have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role as a system engineer or system integrator.
  • You demonstrate a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in inverter design, battery management systems, and high voltage systems. Your experience includes working with FMEA, safety systems, unit testing, test setups, and various testing methodologies.
  • You possess a solid understanding of IoT technologies and are proficient in data bus communication protocols such as CAN, RS485, Modbus, as well as IP networking.
  • You have in-depth technical knowledge of the products and processes within the industry.
  • You are recognized for your excellent communication skills, enjoy collaborating with various teams, and excel at developing strong customer relationships.
  • Mastery of English (both written and verbal) is essential for successfully completing your assignments, and proficiency in Chinese is considered a plus.

Salary Benefits:
