Maintenance engineer

You wiill contribute to technical projects and optimize work methods, efficiency and technical processes by sharing technical knowledge with the purposeto enablethe end users to work with quality and safe installations in a healthy work environment with minimum disturbance of the daily operations.

Requirements:

Engineering and Development Projects
Execute and propose engineering and development projects with the purpose to implement, improve and/or maintain the technical installations and products.
Core activities:
*Collaborate the engineering and development projects within the set budget and time according the local legislation.
*Inventorise the needs of the customers and users for technical installations and products.
*Propose projects that will contribute to quality and efficiency of the technical installations,products and logistic processes within the depots.
*Advise the Regions andassist with technical knowledge on maintenance of technical installations and products.Reporting about installation maintenance status.
*Assist in commissioningand start up of the systems
*Continuous new suppliers research for engineering and development projects to ensure wideoptions/choices depending on the different project location and characteristics.

1. Engineering and Development investments/cost reduction
Advice the management on investments with the purpose to reduce costs and ensure well performing and efficient technical installations and products on short and long term.
Core activities:
*Study current and future needs.
*Make cost-benefit analyses and efficiency proposals for technical investments.
*Make efficiency proposals for technical investments, focusing on depots KPI improvement.
*Make proposal for usages and consumptions optimizations
*Make proposals for maintenance/breakdown cost optimization2. Improve technical installations and operational processes.
Advice the management and coordinate the execution on the technical improvement and maintenance of the operation, technical installations and operational processes.
Core activities:
*Asses the quality of the technical installations and operational processes.
*Participate on SLA follow up and suppliers negotiation.
*Buys (spare) parts and negotiates with suppliers of (spare) parts to guarantee quality and the lowest costs.
*Follows up on repairs done on the installations
*Develop and manage the execution of maintenance plans.
*Active participation in International Technical Meetings and support in International Projects
*Spare parts management including cost allocation support to the Regions.
3. Optimise work methods and processes
Contribute to the optimizing of the daily operations in depots by coordinating the service and maintenance of the technical installations with the purpose to have optimal up time and quality output on short and long term.
Core activities:
*Analyze work methods and propose improvements. OEE
*Make recommendations for improvements in the installations.
*Execute and assist with the installation up-grades.
*Coordinate problem solving in case of calamities.
*Start up the technical service department in new depots giving support to the Regions.

Salary Benefits:

*Bachelor/Masters degree Engineering/ Business Management.
*Approx.3-5years' work experience
*Maintenance management experience.
*Experienced with IT and maintenance software programs.
*Familiar with various project methodologies (e.g.Prince2, Agile, ScrumDevOps)
