Do you have a Master's or PH.D in toxicology, food safety, biology, pharmacology, or nutritional science? Are you available for the next 12 months?

Then I have an opportunity for you.Your responsibilities include:


  • Conduct chemical risk assessments for ingredients and product formulation for the global products portfolio to support innovation and operations, based on scientific literature, toxicological data, human safety evidence, analytical data, and regulatory information;

  • As part of the Horizon Scanning activities, you will contribute to the screening of the scientific & regulatory environment for potential emerging scientific topics and identify potential new chemical risks relevant to the portfolio;

  • Act as subject matter expert on the safety of ingredients & product composition interacting with various functions across the organization.

Through our agency, you will receive a 12-month temporary contract with an external party.
There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 12 months or that our client will make you an offer of a contract, however, we are not able to guarantee this.

Your salary will vary depending on your degree of education and work history (€8000 - 9000 gross per month). In addition, you will have 30 annual leave days.

Requirements:

* Master or PhD degree in toxicology, food safety, biology, pharmacology, or nutritional sciences, with 1-2 years of experience in nutritional and chemical risk assessment applied in an industrial context including knowledge of New Approach Methodologies (knowledge in regulatory toxicology is a plus );
* Board certification in Toxicology or on track to get certified (ie, ERT) is a plus;
* Strong scientific writing skills, the ability to interpret the scientific data on safety into clear business recommendations and well-written scientific dossiers;
* Fluent in English (oral and written);
* Strong communication skills, open to communicating and building a network internally and externally.
