We have the right position for you! Apply nowAs the food product technologist, you will support the product design and development managers with specific activities during innovation projects. This work can include sample management, lab testing, and product documentation.


  • Working within R&I to deliver specific tasks linked to innovation projects including both document preparation and sample analysis (lab-based);

  • Building relationships with key Lab and Utrecht site members to facilitate innovation project delivery;

  • Sample analysis (lab-based) providing data in a consolidated format as requested;

  • Creating and uploading documents linked to innovation projects into the organization's document system;

  • Analyzing data in the Product Lifecycle system to identify gaps and support cleaning activities;

  • Upgrade the data quality of the systems by keeping up-to-date status management of our recipes.

Through our agency, you will receive a 4-month temporary contract.
There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 4 months or that our client will make you an offer of a contract; however, we are not able to guarantee this.


  • Salary will be around €3500 - €4000 gross a month based on a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is based on education and experience;

  • 30 annual leave days;

  • Travel expenses will be covered;

  • Pension plan.


Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (process, food, laboratory, etc.) and approx. 2 years of experience in R&I or Product Development;
* Scientific Mindset (to understand Specialized Nutrition);
* Proactive in work and communication;
* Understand Stakeholder Management;
* Team Player/Collaborative Mindset;
* Able to work individually as in team environments;
* Critical thinking and problem solving;
* Analytical and detailed mind to work with specific data;
* Living near Utrecht;
* Fluent in English.
