Commercial Analyst

In this role, you’ll harness data insights to shape key commercial decisions, contributing directly to operational efficiency and market competitiveness. Your analytical skills will support strategic initiatives in pricing, profitability, and forecasting. Key responsibilities include:

• Data Analysis for Strategic Decisions: Analyze complex supply chain data to develop detailed RFQs and scenario-based investment proposals that drive informed decision-making.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis: Investigate market dynamics, business operations, and customer insights to uncover opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Pricing and Profitability Management: Support the development of pricing strategies, conduct profitability analyses, and refine customer segmentation models to enhance business outcomes.
• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Commercial Insights & Recommendations: Deliver clear, actionable insights to support commercial teams, strengthening decision-making processes and performance improvement.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a commercial or financial analysis role, demonstrating a strong understanding of business dynamics.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Languages: Fluent in English (both written and oral) at a professional business level. Fluency in an additional European language (such as German, Dutch, French, or Spanish) is highly desirable.
• Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated ability with advanced Excel, SQL, and analytics software, alongside in-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques.
