Updated: 26 Dec 2024
Job description
Hydrogen will likely play a crucial role in the energy transition. It can be conveniently be made by alkaline water electrolysis from green electricity.
In this short research position you will perform lab-scale experiments on muliphase flow phenomena occuring in alkaline water electrolyser set-ups. Measurements on gas fraction, potentials, and possibly heat transport will improve understanding of the effect of multiphase flow on performance.
Job requirements
You have an MSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have experience with multiphase flow experiments in alkaline water electrolysis. You are enthusiastic, communicate well in English, hands-on, and eager to contribute to the energy transition.
