Sales Support Engineer | Dutch

For our client's newly founded team in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join them and support in maintaining and building relationships with customers and ensuring their technical needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and be capable of managing customer projects, providing technical assistance, and contributing to the design and development of custom products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
• Manage and interpret the technical requirements of distributors and direct customers.
• Calculate quotations and prepare technical drawings.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the Managing Director as needed.
• Record and maintain client contact data.
• Coordinate customer projects from inception to completion.
• Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, and other events across Europe.
• Provide technical assistance and product education to customers.
• Solve client problems by recommending the most appropriate products.
• Assist in the design of custom-made products to meet specific customer needs.
• Provide training and create support materials for distributors.
• Collaborate with the Production Department to verify designs using machinery.

Key Requirements:

• An Engineering degree, ideally in Electronics Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, including Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in using design software to produce technical drawings.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a resilient and tenacious attitude.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written is required, knowledge of Dutch language is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required, with a valid passport.
• A full driving license is required.
• Willingness to work on-site from the Eindhoven facility.
