Our client, a marine communications company, is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to the diverse customer base. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping others. Please note that this position requires someone to be on-site every day in Moerdijk, remote work is not possible. 

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, quote requests, and actively promoting company’s services.
  • Maintains a strong commitment to keeping customers informed about job progress, issues encountered, completion status, and resolves any concerns.
  • Ensures each job provides customers with a positive and complete service experience.
  • Accurately evaluates job requests and consistently assigns the most appropriate technician for the task.
  • Coordinates with vessel agents to confirm vessel schedules and technician gate access, ensuring technicians are fully informed of any schedule changes.
  • Collaborates with the inventory team to ensure parts are ordered, available, and ready to support ongoing service jobs.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent proficiency in English
  • Proven customer service experience or similar role
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Experience in the Marine or related industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Empathy and a customer-focused mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
