What will you do?
You will be responsible for the remote monitoring, functioning, and analysis of the renewable energy resources in the Netherlands.You will be closely working with and supporting the Asset Management Team in the Netherlands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remotely monitoring the wind turbines and other plant equipment;
  • First point of contact for external parties such as contractors on site;
  • First point of contact in case of emergency;
  • Daily status monitoring of the assets;
  • Performance analysis; and reporting
  • Follow up on unforeseen stand still and initial fault investigation;
  • Manage balance of plant controls and various systems;
  • Communicate and coordinate with planners, site technicians, power market party and others;
  • Analyze data, troubleshoot and diagnose issues remotely;
  • Monitoring weather at sites for safety of the site technicians;
  • Work independently and collaboratively on projects and initiatives that enhance the operations and reliability of the assets;
  • Position will be on a rotating shift that will require the person to be on standby/work nights, weekends and some holidays (on average once per month for 7 days);
  • Join quarterly visual inspections on site, after completing the necessary training.

Requirements:

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (HTS)/Technical Study or a study that demonstrates strong analytical and technical skills;
  • Or Associate Degree (MBO/MTS) plus relevant working experience;
  • Or relevant working experience in a similar job.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking; team-player mentality.
  • At least B1 Dutch language skills and willing to improve; comfortability using the language for both internal and external communication;
  • Sufficient English language skills.
  • Interested in the sustainability industry.
  • Experience with SCADA software is a plus.
  • Valid driver´s license (B).
  • This is 100% onsite based.
  • You must live in the neighborhood of Groningen.
  • Candidates who are living abroad will not be considered (unless there is a concrete plan of moving to the Netherlands).

Salary Benefits:

  • Long-term & full-time position (4 days is optional)
  • Salary EUR 3100 - 3300 per month gross based on full time, including 8% holiday allowance

About the company:

Our client is a renewable energy company in the wind and solar industry. Their headquarters is based in Asia and they operate renewable energy projects world wide. Due to company expansion they are looking for an additional administrative employee to join the Dutch office in Groningen. The candidate will be working in a small team of 6 people (Administrators & Asset Managers).
