Sr. Global Supply Planner Clinical Studies | Pharmaceutical Industry

We are looking for a Sr. Supply Planner to manage demand and supply planning processes for global clinical studies. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring availability of clinical trial supplies from study initiation to closure. You will coordinate inventory levels, packaging and labeling orders, and proactively manage risks and logistics challenges across a portfolio of studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute demand and supply planning for up to 10 global clinical studies, from study start to closure
- Forecast clinical supply needs, manage system settings, and attend planning meetings with study teams based in the UK or US
- Ensure supply readiness by coordinating packaging and labeling orders based on current demand and expiry timelines
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize waste while maintaining adequate supply at clinical sites and central warehouses
- Identify and resolve logistical conflicts and escalate supply risks to key stakeholders as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in supply planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong skills in MS Office
- Understanding of clinical supply chain processes and regulatory requirements
