The Sr. Associate Supply Chain will be responsible for ensuring compliant performance in third-party distribution complaint handling, delivering on agreed KPIs as per plan. The role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet productivity targets, while maintaining strict compliance with SOX and GDP regulations.
Responsibilities - Global Distribution Operations:

  • Act as the business process owner for track and trace activities on the Finished Drug Product (FDP):
  • Perform daily oversight of track and trace activities.
  • Liaise with the regional business process owner as a counterpart.
  • Own related distribution Quality Management documents.
  • Train staff and develop training material.
  • Present performance of related Key Performance Indicators to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert for audits when requested.
  • Perform daily analysis of Alerts received from the National Medicines Verification Organization (NMVO).
  • Own the monthly and quarterly EU FMD Alert trend reporting process.
  • Own, investigate, and resolve distribution complaints to the required first-time-right level.
  • Continuously drive improvements and standardization of EMEA global distribution operations business processes.
  • Support Customer Master Data (CMD) updates in the ERP system.
  • Communicate relevant topics with Local Service Providers (LSPs).
  • Represent Global Distribution in cross-functional project teams.
  • Identify and initiate process and system improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communication.
  • Results-focused and proven ability to deliver results.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Motivated, persistent, and eager to optimize, with a drive for excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a high sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to oversee processes beyond one’s own department.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position within a highly regulated industry.
  • Good understanding of Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
  • Experience working in an international environment and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and different cultures.
  • Experience working with external parties and improving processes.
