We are seeking a Buyer/Planner to support the procurement and planning of medicinal products for global clinical studies. In this role, you will execute source-to-pay processes, develop optimal supply plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely availability of clinical trial materials.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop global supply plans using demand forecasts, SAP, and planning tools to meet patient needs.
  • Conduct market assessments and gather intelligence to determine optimal sourcing strategies for products that aren't procuded by our client.
  • Address sourcing and delivery issues to avoid impacts on clinical studies or milestones.
  • Perform ERP tasks such as SKU creation, master data updates, and purchase order management.
  • Work with vendors, trade organizations, and internal teams to coordinate labeling, packaging, and international shipments.
  • Manage specification documents in PLM, Veeva Vault, and maintain trackers in Smartsheet and SharePoint.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance procurement and supply chain processes.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in operations, life sciences, supply chain, procurement, or planning
  • Experience in procuring comparator products or GMP materials.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP), procurement tools (Ariba), and document management systems (Veeva Vault).
  • Strong supply and demand planning skills for clinical trial materials.
  • Excellent digital skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and Smartsheet.
  • Experience in transportation, including import/export of medicinal products.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
