Customer Service Employee - Transport

  • Reporting any issues regarding the transport SLA en translating these to actions to solve any problems.
  • Proactively finding any improvement possibilities.
  • Joining the implementation of projects to add service value to our clients.
  • Intervene in any issues and advise about solutions for the long term.
  • Adding to the Lean Six Sigma working methods.
  • Reporting to the customer service manager.

Requirements:

  • Education in Transport/Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge about (road)transport, logistics, customs requirements and import & export.
  • Experience in contact with English clients.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Experience with MS office.
  • Knowledge of transport management systems (Transparix, Bluerock, etc.).

The company in Venlo is an international company in transport, warehousing and logistics services for fashion & lifestyle. In this function you will be responsible for defining Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will also be responsible for executing the services discussed with the client in the SLA. You will be the first point of contact for the client in regards to transport related business.
