As an International Trader, you’ll act like an entrepreneur in your market, handling both buying and selling. This role is about finding new leads, making deals, traveling internationally, managing orders, and solving challenges to help grow the company.
Our client is growing fast and the idea is creating multiple divisions and brands. You will have the opportunity to create your own team and division. The commercial / business opportunities will be developed on its own initiative. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Finding Leads : Identify new business opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Making Deals : Negotiate agreements to maximize profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Teamwork : Collaborate with colleagues to streamline operations and serve clients better.
  • Travel : Visit clients and explore market opportunities abroad.
  • Order Management : Keep track of orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Problem Solving : Address issues creatively to keep business running smoothly.
  • Business Growth: Help expand our client's market reach and build strong client relationships.
  • Personal Growth: Have the opportunity to create your own team and division. The commercial / business opportunities will be developed on its own initiative. 

Requirements:

To be a great candidate for this position, you need to have the following qualities:

  • Experience: 5+ years related experience in international trade, sales, or procurement
  • Skills: Good negotiation and communication skills are essential.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in GERMAN and ENGLISH are a MUST; additional languages a plus
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time
  • Location: You must live in Amsterdam area (max. 45 minutes - 1 hour travel time)
