For a client in the fashion business based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Junior Product Developer for Menswear focused on Wovens. For more information, please read the job description below. Please note, the deadline to apply is Monday, April 14th at 10:00AM.
The Department & Team
The Menswear Product Development Wovens team drives the creation of innovative and sustainable products, managing the full development process from concept to final garment. The team is committed to high quality, product excellence, and meeting both company and divisional KPIs.
In close collaboration with stakeholders across design, merchandising, the supply value chain, and global buying and planning teams, this role is key to bringing the brand’s DNA to life.
The Position

  • The position is for the category menswear pants/shorts (focused on woven).
  • Ensure product quality, margin, and sustainability targets are achieved across development through close collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
  • Manage the entire product development process by participating in key meetings, advising on product and margin improvements, signing off styles, and following category-specific calendars.
  • Work closely with Design, Sourcing, and Vendors to align on product expectations, cost implications, innovation, sustainability goals, and price negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in PLM systems, oversee risk assessments including lead times and quality checks, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Handle operational and administrative tasks such as sampling (proto/SMS), creating and sharing technical packs, organizing materials and samples, and supporting approvals and meetings.
  • Contribute to broader initiatives including sustainability targets
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support product, process, and strategic business decisions.

The Ideal Candidate description:

  • 1+ years of experience in sourcing, development, and production of woven apparel, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong product knowledge in woven categories, including fabrics, trims, color approval, and the full product development process.
  • Effective communicator and team player with experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and commercially minded with a proactive, hands-on approach in fast-paced environments.
  • High level of data integrity and fluent in written and spoken English.
