What will you do?
The main goal of the role is to support the key accounts, develop new ones, and enhance client relationships according to the company strategy
What are the main responsibilities?

  • Provide client support and manage the client experience
  • Quote, manage, and invoice projects on a day-to-day basis
  • Build, maintain and expand a network in relevant fields of business
  • Educate clients on the solutions
  • Control cost, revenue, and profit of your accounts
  • Search, assess, develop, and close sales opportunities
  • Find leads; develop new client relationships via internet research, events, trade shows, and warm calling 

Requirements:

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Japanese
  • Minimum two years of experience in an international sales environment, preferably in the field of translation, audio-visual media and/or printing
  • Affinity enhances our clients' communication efforts by providing exceptional translation, printing, and audio-visual solutions.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Solid organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment 
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 days/week in our office in Amsterdam
  • You have the valid working permit for the Netherlands (our client does not offer sponsorship)
  • You must live in the Netherlands

Salary Benefits:

  • This is a long term position and full time = 40 working hours per week. (Optional: minimum 36 working hours per week - divided in 5 working days).
  • The salary is between EUR 2500 - EUR 3200 (maximum) per month gross. The salary depends on education and work experience.
  • Travel costs will be reimbursed, an NS business card will be provided.
  • By car or bike: EUR 0.23 per km.
  • Pension scheme & 24 holiday days per year
  • Eligible for a bonus only after completing one year with the company. The bonus is contingent on business performance.
  • Our client offers a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three days in the office each week.
  • Our client provides an initial one-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Our client is a communication solutions company with offices in Asia, Europe and North America. The European HQ is based in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam office has approx. 30 employees.
