As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the financial and administrative tasks of our client’s Dutch office.
Key Responsibilities:
1)Overseeing accounting and financial processes for the Netherlands office
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Fixed asset administration
Performing bank reconciliations
Coordinating with internal/external auditors, tax authorities, and tax advisors
Ensuring timely monthly closings
Balance sheet reconciliation
2) Managing local administration and HR-related matters
Handling procurement of supplies, lease agreements, etc.
Ensuring proper functioning of IT infrastructure (servers, systems) in coordination with an external provider and the internal IT department in France
Overseeing all personnel administration (recruitment, contracts, employee records, HR declarations, expat contracts, etc.)

Requirements:

Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) + professional level of English
Educational background, preferably in Economics, Business Administration or something similar
Proven experience in accounting, having worked in the Netherlands (Dutch GAAP)
Office management experience is an advantage
Living in the Amsterdam area
