Fashion Designer Prints and Graphics - Temporary

We are looking for a Prints & Graphics Designer for an international fashion brand based in Amsterdam.

This role focuses on transforming brand direction into impactful visual expressions. Responsibilities include designing logos, repeat prints, T-shirt graphics, and other imagery, ensuring seamless integration into fashion products. Available from 17/02/2025 to at least 07/11/2025? Please get in touch!Within this role, you will have responsibility for creating the logos, prints and t-shirt graphics. You will be responsible for:

• Oversee the entire design process, from initial inspiration and concept development to technical files, sample reviews, and final bulk adjustments;




• Create diverse visual assets that align with various briefs and adapt to multiple styles;




• Quickly generate multiple design concepts in silhouette format based on new input;




• Conduct visual research to support mood boards and seasonal direction;




• Adapt and refine existing artwork, including placement, recoloring, and finalization;




• Develop, update, and distribute artwork worksheets;




• Collaborate closely with Product Developers and Designers to bring creative ideas to life;




• Manage projects independently from start to finish when necessary;




• Work in alignment with the Design Calendar, ensuring deadlines and key milestones are met;




• Organize full-scale projects and coordinate with other designers for specific tasks when needed.

Requirements:

* Strong background in image creation is essential-formal education is not required, but a consistent practice with a high level of skill is needed (fields like print design, graphic design, 3D design, video game design, illustration, and fine arts are all relevant);
* Several years of experience in commercial graphic design, with at least a few years in the fashion industry;
* A distinctive creative vision with a unique style, while also being able to collaborate effectively;
* Ability to adapt to different artistic styles is a plus;
* Strong interest in fashion and a keen awareness of current visual trends;
* Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with additional creative software, such as 3D design tools, is a significant advantage;
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as it is the company's working language.
