Join our team as a Battery Performance and Testing Specialist and play a key role in the BESTEST initiative, contributing to cutting-edge research in battery performance, testing, and environmental impact. Your work will directly support the European Battery Alliance's mission to build a sustainable and competitive battery manufacturing ecosystem in Europe.

What You'll Do:


  • Conduct hands-on experimental work in our state-of-the-art battery lab, focusing on testing and evaluating battery performance.

  • Perform in-depth scientific literature reviews and web searches on battery performance and safety, summarising your findings in clear and impactful reports.

  • Collaborate in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment that thrives on innovation, teamwork, and solving complex technical challenges.


What We're Looking For:


  • Background in Batteries: Prior experience with batteries or other electrochemical power sources is a plus.

  • Lab Expertise: Familiarity with laboratory settings and electrochemical analytical techniques, including battery cycling, impedance spectroscopy, dilatometry, and microstructural analysis (e.g., SEM), is highly desirable.

  • Analytical Skills: Knowledge of diagnostic techniques like GC/MS, FTIR, and thermogravimetric analysis is preferred.

  • Communication: Proficiency in spoken and written English (B2 level or higher).
