Junior lecturer (junior docent) in Social and Organizational psychology

As a Junior Docent you will support the following programs: Bachelor Psychology, Master Organizational Psychology, and Research Master Social Psychology. You will be involved in various teaching-related and organizational activities in both programs.

In your time as a Junior Docent, you will be encouraged to develop your own skill set in preparation for various career paths. In addition to acquiring a basic qualification in teaching (‘BKO’), you will work with other educators within the sections of Social Psychology and Organizational Psychology within the Department of Experimental and Applied Psychology.

Your duties
As a junior lecturer you will have a variety of duties depending on your expertise and interest, such as

  • Supervising workgroups for psychology courses
  • Contributing to promotional activities (Outreach)
  • Assisting in evaluating student assignments and exams
  • Supervising student projects
  • Co-teaching courses with a more experienced teacher

Requirements:

  • Have completed a Master in social psychology or a related field
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Possess good organizational skills
  • Be enthusiastic about teaching
  • Be proactive and able to work independently

Salary Benefits:

  • A challenging position in a socially engaged organisation.
  • A salary of minimum € 3.226,00 (Scale 10) and maximum € 5.090,00 (Scale 10) gross per month, on a full-time basis. This is based on UFO profile Teacher 4.
  • A position of at least 0.8fte. The employment contract is initially for one year, with the possibility of a temporary extension.
