Customer Service Representative & Commercial Support | French

Our client is a global organization seeking a Customer Service Representative for our European profit center based in Rotterdam.In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for the European customers, bridging the gap between Sales, Maintenance & Repairs teams, and Finance teams. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting European customers: Fielding inquiries via phone and email, arranging container pick-up and drop-off, managing rentals, and providing guidance on container transport and cleaning.
• Supporting Sales Managers: Generating quotes, validating contracts, nurturing prospects, and facilitating the conversion of prospects into customers.
• Assisting the maintenance and service department: Managing container workflow, coordinating depot bookings for inspections, and facilitating repair and modification approvals.
• Supporting the Finance department: Following up on outstanding payments with customers and coordinating invoice-related issues with our head office..

Requirements:

In order to do this well:

• We're looking for proactive candidates with a keen understanding of the organization's operations.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, coupled with an MBO education, is preferred.
• Proficiency in French and English is essential, while Dutch language skills are not mandatory
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Someone who is a great team player
