Quality Assurance Specialist

Quality Assurance Specialist needed in the FMCG Industry.

An organization in the cosmetics industry who have been around for 15 years is looking for a quality assurance specialist to join their team. In this role, you will manage international quality assurance activities and projects that contribute to safeguarding and further improving the quality of products.

• Follow up on acute quality issues together with suppliers and coordinate non-conformity processes (e.g. CAPA);




• Review monthly customer feedback and take part in (bi)annual supplier evaluation sessions on quality KPIs;




• Signal product quality improvements in partnership with the Innovation Department and your suppliers, initiate quality improvement projects to optimize our product assortment;




• Function as a contact person for suppliers, sales organizations, and internal departments, managing quality-related procedures and inquiries;




• Act as business ambassador protecting all quality, safety, and legislation requirements.

Salary will be around €4500 - €5500 gross a month based on 40 hours workweek.

Requirements:

* Degree in science or technology, or equivalent in knowledge, experience, and training - (NVC) packaging technology, industrial design engineering, etc.
* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a Quality Assurance/Technology role in the (cosmetic) packaging field;
* You are structured, disciplined, have great analytical skills, and enjoy working with stakeholders;
* Social skills are also a must, as you will be interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds, as well as functions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and a good command of the English language is essential;
* A driver's license.
